First Day Approaches...

As we get closer to the first day of school (Monday)... I'm both excited and nervous.  I guess I feel that way EVERY year, but it is different this year.  

My summer wasn't as restful as usual.  Our team met almost every Thursday morning (which was GREAT).  We all spent hours and hours on Schoology writing content.  I'm excited to get feedback next week from my students and their families.  They will begin with what we call "week zero".  Lots of learning about the online resources we will be using and getting familiar with Schoology.

I thought it might be helpful for students and their PAWS Partners to focus on one content area each day.  I'm writing lessons for Kindergarten and 1st grade learners and have used lots of audio (vocaroo) and video (iPad and Screencast-o-matic) to make it accessible for them.  I'm also waiting for my new iPad stand that will help with video production too.  

We still have soooo many questions... as we launch this new school.  Yet, we have a GREAT team that is ready to take it on!
