Jeffco Virtual Academy (K-6)

It is time to start blogging about the NEW teaching position!  I'm excited to be a part of the K-6 Jeffco Virtual Academy team... and I'll be teaching K/1 online.

Yep... you heard right.  Kindergarten and 1st Graders learning online!  What an amazing challenge.  We are using Schoology as our platform and I've begun to write lessons that include me reading the directions (using Vocaroo) and also videos of me reading.  

As we work through the summer to build this online curriculum (using our district's CAP documents) we find more questions than answers... but that is what pioneers do!  They encounter challenges that make them stronger.  I already feel like a better educator because of these questions and challenges.
